![]() Thread 0 crashed with PPC Thread State 64: Path: /Applications/Toast 8 Titanium/Toast Titanium.app/Contents/MacOS/Toast TitaniumĬodes: KERN_PROTECTION_FAILURE (0x0002) at 0x00000000 Attached is my crash log when I try to run Toast 8. Running te most uptodte OS 10.4.10, and ROXIO 8.0.1. My machine is a Power MAC G4 Mirror Drive 1.25 mhz. Motion Pictures HD - the same result as DiscCatalogMaker.Īnybody have an idea why this appplication does not work on my MAC? "The application DiscCatalogMaker quit unexpectedly." A dialogue box i displayed with the following error message. I tried to run the other programs that are in the Toast 8 Titanium and this is the result.ĬD Spin Doctor - when I click on the icon this program stays open.ĭisc Cover RE - click on the icon and the program does not openĭiscCatalogMaker - click on the icon and the program opens and then quickly shuts down. The toaster bounces on the DOCK and nothing opens. Well I am using OS 10.4.10 and since I installed the app I get the same problem. I've un-installed everythign that I can find having to do with this POS and any Divx codecs that I can find and we'll see what happens. Ok, seriously.I just bought this program 2 hours ago through Roxios on-line store and downloaded the version that was in the link for what I jsut bought and it's not the latest version? I'm about to submit a trouble ticket and lets see if they can figure anything out. Both extremely stable machines - except for this half-assed application. Both Intel Macs - Both running the 10.4.10. Brand new install and it crashes on start up. ![]() I don't know why I expected it to be any better in V8. I was never happy with it using version 7. Now I remember why I waited so long to upgrade this POS software. Running into the exact same freakin' problem here. Now load up Toast and everything should be working peachy. Just load up QuickTime and play a movie, just to make sure nothing is haywire. ![]() Close it down.ħ) Go into that folder you created earlier QTempPref and move those components back to ~/Library/Preferences/QuickTime. When loading it will ask you to load in DivX components.UNcheck this, because you want to use the new ones you have already.Ħ) Now load up Toast, everything should be working. Also delete anything - quicktime - and also - roxio -ģ) Go into Applications and delete the whole folder of Toast.Ĥ) Run a cache cleaner like Onyx or Cocktail.ĥ) Restart your computer and load in Toast. Ģ) Go into /yourname/Library/Preferences and delete anything that has to do with or has the name DivX in it. Seems that with all the new DivX components and upgrades there is a conflict between Roxio's DivX and others.ġ) Move all your Quicktime components (~/Library/Preferences/QuickTime) to a new folder on your desktop.call it QTempPref. Okay I figured it out and thought I'd share.
